Deemed one of the most extreme adrenaline-filled activities imaginable, our venue in Sheffield aims to enhance the scare factor even more. With a national newspaper describing it as "a disorientating attack on the senses”, we make you do the jump in semi-darkness with music, video screens, dry ice and effect lighting all adding to an already heart-racing, daunting yet breath-taking experience!
Bungee jumping at our Sheffield venue doesn't require you to have any prior bungee jumping experience and both beginners and those who are regular jumpers are more than welcome.
We provide you with the full safety equipment and our qualified instructors will provide a full safety briefing before the jump. If you do have any further questions then don't hesitate to ask our instructors - it's perfectly natural to have more and having them answering will ease any doubts you may have!

For those beginners who are uncertain about the safety of bungee jumping, there really is no need to panic. Upon arrival you'll be provided with safety equipment and talked through a safety briefing by our fully qualified and vastly experienced instructors. They'll walk you through the equipment used and what you can expect before, during and after your jump. They'll also happily answer any doubts about the experience you may have - putting your mind at total ease so you can go and enjoy the experience of a lifetime.
For those not wanting to watch the jump, we can accommodate you too! Don't worry, your feet will remain perfectly on the ground - but we can't guarantee your heart wont be racing as you see your friend/family/loved one free-fall towards the airbag below!

Indoor Bungee Jump
Indoor Bungee Jump at 150ft. Picture the scene: you are enveloped in semi darkness, spot lights whirl around Magna’s breathtaking structure, the Face of Steel, standing at 150ft. You start to climb the 143 steps to the jump zone, music pumps out of a wall of speakers, dry ice fills the air, and 7 huge video screens project images of what you are about to experience, And that’s before you’ve even taken the plunge. NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED.

For those working their way up to our Indoor Bungee Jump, the Triple Whammy Experience is a perfect option! This 3-in-1 activity pack unlocks three thrills at The Abyss @ Magna. Zip across The Face of Steel on the 250ft Zip Wire, then climb the steps before descending down the 120ft Abseil. Lastly, it’s time for the final thrill - The Drop! The Awesome Foursome Experience is truly the ultimate in adrenaline experiences! Hosted at The Abyss @ Magna, this 4-in-1 activity pack is sure to get your heart racing. First, you’ll be harnessed up for a speedy 250-ft Zip Wire, before taking on the first of many stair-climbs as you head to the Abseil platform, 120ft high in The Face of Steel. Once you’re sufficiently warmed up, it’s time to take on The Drop! Excellent from start to finish , fantastic staff my daughter loved the whole experience.
We did did the whole event for a laugh. It's was crazy but well worth achieving the awesome foursome experience. It's great knowing that we confronted our fears with the help of the staff that had great humour.

Your activity will take place in the £46 million Millennium project and award winning Magna Science Adventure Centre, providing you with the ultimate place to explore once you've been bungee jumping in Sheffield. The complex is also easily accessible by all forms of transport. By car it's accessible from the M1 - take junction 34 if you are travelling from the south, and junction 34 if you are travelling from the north. It's also 1 mile from Meadowhall Shopping Centre, where there is free parking and a train station.
